As a Catholic, I partake in this strange thing called confession.
Basically, you go into a dark room and confess your sins through a screen to a man wearing a dress.
It’s pretty weird… and it never really stops being weird.
But at the same time, it’s very normal, almost natural.
This isn't a theology lesson tho and these emails are not just for Catholics.
So if you want to know more about this thing we do called confession just give it a google.
What I want to harp on about is some advice I received a few years ago when I went I was in said confessional.
I was particularly discouraged at the time but the words that I received put a little piece of hope in me that has stayed with me ever since.
It was even anything that special…
In fact, it was simply the subject line of this email.
”We always move forward”
That’s it.
That’s all.
There isn’t anymore.
Yours in the forward motion,
Ben
P.S. If you still read these emails you may ask yourself, “What is this newsletter actually about? And that would be a fair question that I would struggle to answer.
But a better question might be what will I get out of this newsletter if I keep reading it?
And I would give you the following answer: my hope is that you would keep moving forward, toward who you are. The world needs more of you and that is something you must never forget.
Don’t disappoint us!
